Network device disappears in build -27

Bug Description

Network device is not detected and unavailable after upgrading dapper with the -27 build. Kernel -23 (last installed build) works fine. The two laptops effected (Intel Core Duo T2300) are both Intel Pro/Wireless ABG.

Wireless card: Intel Pro Wireless a/b/g and I'm using ipw3945 which was auto
configured for me
