Ejabberd refusing to authenticate users

Bug Description

Ejabberd does not operate with Erlang/OTP R11B version included in edgy, and whilst it runs will not authenticate users, it operated perfectly under the R10 version included with dapper

I believe it is an edgy issue
able to access with binary or src crypto_drv on dappery, freespire and other platforms

Correct, it is only an issue with Edgy. Edgy uses a newer (and apparently buggier) version of Erlang than Dapper does.
