Writing to CD, doesn't recognise blank disc

Bug Description
Ubuntu 6.06. Samsung CD-R/RW drive SW-224B.
Insert blank CD; message "You have inserted a blank disc"
Select Make Data CD.
CD/DVD Creator appears.
Drag files into Creator window.
Click on Write to Disc
Message: "Insert a rewritable or blank disc"
Click on OK, message repeated. Re-insert blank CD, message repeated.
Tried different CDs.
This has only occurred since upgrade to Dapper.

Thanks for your bug report. Can you copy the output of running /usr/lib/ nautilus- cd-burner/ list_cddrives (with an inserted medium) to a comment?
