Bug Description
Binary package hint: clamav
Just upgraded to the latest version of clamav (0.96.5+
user@box:~$ sudo service clamav-daemon start
* Starting ClamAV daemon clamd ERROR: LogFile requires full path.
Closing the main socket.
OK, let's try to find what is specified:
user@box:~$ grep LogFile /etc/clamav/*
/etc/clamav/
[...]
Looks like there's something not specified here...
OK, let's try and see if setting a file removes the error:
user@box:~$ grep LogFile /etc/clamav/*
/etc/clamav/
I used the location of the existing file here.
frschorer@ebox:~$ sudo service clamav-daemon start
* Starting ClamAV daemon clamd
OK, so it's working again - problem solved for me, but others still nedd a solution ;-)
Thanks für your kind work!

Do you have the old clamd.conf file, and if so, could you attach it to this bugreport please? It should be in /etc/clamav/ clamd.conf. ucf-old . Thanks.
