Bug Description
This bug is starting to get big. Here you have a small history of what has happened:
I believe everything starts with bug lp:551699 in which it was stated that a pairing record should be added in the desktopcouch management database. Later with the evolution of the code, we moved to use Ubuntu SSO which forced the code to be moved to the Ubuntu SSO client. Rightly mentioned in bug lp:629095, that code was too specific to be in Ubuntu SSO and therefore it was requested to be moved to desktopcouch, which at that moment was considered the best location.
The issue was raised again in lp:668868 In this later bug the complain was that the code is to u1 specific, which it is, and that desktopcouch, as well as Ubuntu SSO, is a too general module for that code.
Now we arrive to the situation in which the pairing is not done at all and therefore it should be re-aded. This time the code should be part of Ubuntu One since if the glue project of all the different techs.

We agreed that the code will remain on desktopcouch trunk, but will be a in a different binary package.
