Bug Description

Binary package hint: adept

Adept uses default kubuntu style, color scheme and fonts - so in the end it can look odd if user likes to customize her/his desktop look

workaround is to enable root login, run kdesu kcontrol and customize it exactly like your own desktop

Actually, adept does not even respect the default kubuntu style. The icons in "Adept Manager" are not default Crystal icons and look out-of-place. Furthermore, text is shown below the icons, even though the default is to just show icons.

It would be nice if adept would respect the KDE styles.

The proposed workaround is kind of clumsy, and not a very user friendly solution. I'd expect that adept follow the rest of the KDE applications and use the same colours and fonts defined in System Settings.

Confirmed. I changed my font and adept looks very out of place now.

By the way this happenes because kdesu launches adept (or any other program that uses kdesu on startup) as root, hence settings for the root user are used
