No Proxy Settings in "Network" available

Binary package hint: gaim

I have a german Ubuntu Edgy Desktop.
Now I can't configure a proxy in Gaim2.0-beta3.1 anymore and/or it is ignored.
In the "Network" Settings, I don't have any fields for entering my proxy settings.
If I do it in my ICQ profile (where you can set specific proxy settings for each profile), my settings are completely ignored. (Error: Proxy Error 407; But I entered username and password correctly)

The Proxy-Part in my accounts.xml:

<type>http</type>
<host>192.168.1.2</host>
<port>3128</port>
<username>myusername</username>
<password>mypassword</password>
</proxy>

The Proxy-Part in my prefs.xml
<pref name="proxy">
<pref name="type" type="string" value="http"/>

<pref name="port" type="int" value="3128"/>
<pref name="username" type="string" value="myusername"/>
<pref name="password" type="string" value="mypassword"/>

If you are running within Gnome I believe Gaim will use Gnome's proxy settings.

have gnome and gnome proxy settings configured correctly. Still doesn't work.
With Gaim 1.5 everything just worked well... So, what changed?

Are there any other messages in Gaim's debug window? What kind of proxy are you using?

"Bug" is solved, you can configuer the proxy in the account preferences.
But thx a lot for checking ;)
