Bug Description

Binary package hint: eog

Ubuntu 10.10
eog version 2.32.0-0ubuntu1

Double-click any image in nautilus to open eog (eye of gnome) image viewer. Right-click the image in eog and click 'set as desktop background.' In the same eog window, scroll to the next picture (or any other picture in the folder) and right-click that image and click 'set as desktop background.'

What I expect to happen: the newly selected image replaces the previous image as the desktop background
What actually happens: the usual message appears at the top of eog, notifying me that the image has been set as the background, but the background does not get changed.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/ . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
