Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better.

Unfortunately the logs don't seem to be very helpful in figuring out why post-install failed. Could you please append the following files from your system?

/var/log/apt/term.log
/var/log/daemon.log
/var/log/dpkg.log
