Bug Description

I'm running mencoder in gnome terminal (encoding a movie).

When I open nautilus and go to the folder where the encoding is happening AND am in that folder long enouhg to see the file-size (etc.) change, the CPU usage of nautilus jumps to 40%-50% and stays that way even if I close nautilus.

If I look in the folder with nautilus briefly and close it, it terminates normally.

The CPU load of nautilus stays about the same as mencoders.

P.S. That's my first bug report; hope it's useful.
