[dash] search yields no results (natty only)

I suppose you are using Ubuntu 10.10 Natty in which case the issue is very well known and will be fixed shortly.

Indeed. The bug is still here, unfornately.

All the pieces are now in place for the fix to be working. We are only missing a new release of libdee. And also until a new version of unity-2d is in Natty you probably want to use the daily ppa:

Thanks Patrick for the feedback. We are aware that it is not working yet as we are waiting on a new release of libdee as stated in comment #5. You will be informed of that because when it happens this bug will be marked as "Fix Committed".

i updated my system with the updates for unity 2d daily and still cannot search

nevermind it works now i thought i updated libdee but i had not now that i have it works now

im up-to-date with unity-2d from ppa
the application dash is empty as you can see in screenshot

i hav unintsalled unit-application-place but it still empty even if i type a firefox or whatever .

this bug is marked "fixed" but not on my OS im quite sorry

same here, fully updated unity-2d ppa with natty but no icons in applications place, also after doing a search.
files place instead works fine.

this is what I get when I open files place from launcher

It doesn't happen always, just sometimes. When this happens, the icons for other lenses disappear as well. I'll attach some screenshots to show you what I mean
