Bug Description
The KDE storage media applet does not show icons in kicker for unmounted removable mediums anymore as it did in dapper. In the applet's configuration dialog, "Unmounted Removable Medium" is not listed as option in the "Medium Types" tab anymore.
KDE's mediamanager still correctly identifies unmounted removable mediums.
Steps to reproduce:
1) Add the storage media applet to kicker if you haven't already done so
2) Connect a USB stick.
3) Select cancel on the dialog which pops up asking you what to do, e.g. "Open in new window"
Result:
the USB stick is not mounted and no icon for an unmounted USB stick appears in kicker.
Expected behaviour:
the storage media applet shows an icon for an unmounted USB stick which allows you to mount it if necessary.
I can confirm this bug!
My system is running kubuntu 6.10.
I think I've discovered a part of the cause of the problem: >Desktop- >Behavior- >Device Icons".
There are some entries missing under "Control Center-
I can't see "Unmounted Removable Medium", "Unmounted CD-ROM", "Unmounted DVD" and some more "Unmounted ..." which should be there.
