Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnumeric

As stated in the summary, the tab for the error bars has disappeared from the graph guru making it impossible to give error bars to data series.
I found this problem in Ubuntu/Xubuntu 6.10 while it worked perfectly under dapper (gnumeric 1.6.3), in fact my temporary workaround was to downgrade the package to the dapper version (and it works!!!).

What type of graph are you trying to add the error bars to, as a X-Y graph has this option.

In Dapper (gnumeric 1.6.3) i usually made column and line graphs, both with error bars, in Edgy (gnumeric 1.7.0) i don't find the tab (how to you call it?) for error bars anymore.

Upstream has a patch in CVS fixing this, some #ifdefs were wrong.

please, could someone fix this bug in the ubuntu 6.10 package, i and many colleagues of mine use it at work and we really need gnumeric to make error bars in column graphs!!!

Ubuntu Edgy Eft is no longer supported, so a SRU will not be issued for this release. Marking Edgy as Won't Fix.
