Bug Description

Binary package hint: unity

todays update to libglew1.5-1.5.7 and libglewmx1.5-1.5.7 broke unity for me (Intel Corporation Mobile 945GME Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)).

workaround downgrade this two packages to version 1.5.2

This also affects ATI graphics using the open source driver. ATI Radeon HD4350 here and unable to log into Natty Unity desktop or run compiz in classic desktop with 1.5.7 version libglew and libglewmx. Downgrading these two to 1.5.2 restores ability to run Unity.

Would you regard #701065, #711012 and #711021 to be duplicates of (or at least related to) this bug? The reversion didn't help in my case. I'll add fresh unity_support_test crash data to #711021 in a moment.
