Bug Description

... while retrieving a message through IMAP

My primary email account is IMAP one. I did the following before Thunderbird crashed:

* Opened a folder with ~500 messages.
* Changed filter to show messages with attachments only.
* Viewed a message with attachment.
* Set filter back to show all messages.
* Went to Inbox, where I opened a new message to read.
* Moved this message to mentioned folder with ~500 messages.
* Tried to open this folder.
* Crashed.

I had the same problem with multiples mailboxes in IMAP (with folders and subfolders, many of them are > 500 messages, > 3000 messages (with filters)).

I had it on startup, without having the time to read one message.

I believe the same crash happened. All my mailboxes are IMAP and I guess the problem comes from the junk mail checker : during startup, I have 3 IMAP + 1 IMAPS mailboxes automatically checked. I configured them so as their junk mail are thrown into the junk folder of the global account. This global account has a 30 last messages rule. So it only keeps the 30 last junk mails.

Since this crash, the limitation has been dropped out and now, I have more than 30 junk mails inside it. I have to re-set the limitation rule. Unless I don't do it, it seems Thunderbird no longer crashes.

Is this still an issue for you? We are trying to sort this issue and would like to know if this still happens.

Thanks in advance.
