Bug Description

When settings changed and press ´OK´ or ´Apply´ at Synaptic -> Preferences -> General -- Synaptic freeze and CPU use goes up to 100%. Only can be killed from terminal.

Closing this bug since on my X31 synaptic works perfectly on edgy, feisty and gutsy beta.
If you still have this problem with later versions of ubuntu, please report again.
