request: gaim2 beta5

Builds and runs successfully.

However, I'm sure doing this would lead to the need to recompile a few gaim extensions here and there. If someone can chase these dependencies down, that'd be great!

all the rest work jsut fine with the upgraded gaim

upon closer instection
gaim-encryption needs to be upstreams for it to compile with b5
gaim-guifications (unknowen but wont compile with backport)

Here Gaim beta5 had crashed so much times that I've come back to beta3 :/

I'm putting this on my calendar... sometime next week I'd really like to talk to some developers about this, see if they have any "big picture" plans for how they're gonna deal with the beta stuff in main.

It seems like the developers have intention of maintaining these beta-shipped packages. As a result, I will not meddle in their work by adding backported flavors to the mix, especially in this case when a boatload of additional backports need to be built!
