Bug Description

I'm using edgy on a Lenovo 3000 C100 with Intel Graphics. Resuming from Suspend-to-RAM results in a black screen. Switching to a VC and back to X doesn't help. Suspending while in text mode doesn't help either.
I found out that setting POST_VIDEO=false in /etc/default/acpi-support fixes this issue. Now it suspends and resumes perfectly!
(BTW, hibernate worked right out of the box)

Please whitelist this notebook in /usr/share/acpi-support.
Here's the relevant dmidecode output:
LENOVO
0761FNG
3000 C100

Thanks

Please add you laptop to the list of supported laptops here : https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LaptopTesting

I don't know if it will solve that, but helps the Ubuntu Laptop team to know where all works correctly and help to improve the laptop support.

I just came here to post a bug for the S3 Sus-To-RAM not working for the same laptop on Feisty. Will try that fix tonight. Will that fix be somehow rolled into the installation?
