Bug Description

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

In the current version of xchat gnome in the ubuntu edgy repository cause some nicknames to show up as blank space. The message is received but it appears to come from no one.

This should mean that the message comes from the last person to send a message. Can you check that's what it is?

It seems to be random, but I cannot be certain that they are not all coming from the same person as I cannot see who the blank messages are from. A catch 22 if you will, if this is a known issue then I apologize for the duplicate bug.

I used to experience this bug, but not any more (in Feisty and Gutsy). I close the bug. If someone still have the bug, feel free to reopen.
