Cannot install libsane-dev if libjpeg8-dev is installed

Bug Description

If i have libjpeg8-dev installed ( instead of libjpeg62-dev ) in maverick, i cannot install libsane-dev without removing libjpeg8-dev first.

Steps to reproduce :
1) Install libjpeg8-dev
2) Try to install libsane-dev
3) Replace libjpeg8-dev with libjpeg62-dev
4) Try and installl libsane-dev

yes, this is due to a binary incompatibility between libjpeg8-dev and libjpeg62-dev, see bug 692268, marking as duplicate.
