Bug Description

Binary package hint: quodlibet

Users should be able to have quodlibet relocate their files according to their metadata. The user should also specify the format in which he wants metadata to define the new file location.

For example, a user wants his files to be relocated in this way: <artist>/<album>/<song>
So, quodlibet would read the files tags, generate a new file name, relocate the file, and update its database so the file matches its new location.

This functionality has already been implemented not only in Banshee but also in a project I formerly owned which organized (relocated) files for Rhythmbox, accessible through this link: https://launchpad.net/rb-fileorganizer . The code is in python.

The purpose of this bug report is so that the module gets to the core of quodlibet.
