gtranslator crashes when copying text from translations fields

Bug Description

Quite often, when I try to copy text (Ctrl-C) from either of the text fields in the translation view, gtranslator locks up, never to recover.

Only "solution" is to kill gtranslator and start over from where you last saved.

I'd really appreciate if this could be fixed, since this has caused me a lot of wasted time and effort :-/

This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

what version of Ubuntu do you use?

I use Ubuntu Edgy :)

I tried following the instructions on how to make a backtrace as you requested, but there is no dbgsym package for gtranslator. Am I to proceed without it?

Here's the backtrace. I just loaded up a random .po file and used Ctrl-C repeatedly in the field where the text to be translated appears. Note that the program doesn't crash, it just hangs.

Thank you for the backtrace. That's not a debug one and not really useful but points an incorrect free, with the description it looks like the same problem than http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=400048 which is fixed to feisty now. Marking as fixed. Feel free to reopen if you still get the bug with the feisty version
