Bubble notification states "successful upload" even if the file upload failed

Bug Description

For exmaple, my syncdaemon is failing with

and yet I'm getting a bubble saying that stand-up.txt was successfully uploaded.

The software is lying about the actual condition. The best solution is to notify the user about the sync issue. At the very least we should not produce misleading notifications.
