Bug Description

Binary package hint: grub

ENVIRONMENT:
Installing Dapper 6.06.1 on Micron 400MHz PII with 64MB RAM using text mode.
In "Install GRUB boot loader on hard disk", if installation fails, a screen is presented with 3 choices: Retry, Change mirror, and Cancel.

PROBLEM:
Choosing Cancel goes back to the progress bar "Installing GRUB boot loader" for a few seconds then returns to the Retry/Change mirror/Cancel screen. Seems to be stuck in an endless loop.

BTW:
This my first bug report so advise if anything is wrong. I've been a programmer and DBA for over 20yrs, primarily Unix/Oracle, but am new to Linux.
