Thank you for your report that Ubuntu's firefox crashes for you under
some circumstances.

The vast majority of firefox crashes are caused by buggy plugins -
notably, the Macromedia Flash player. These crashes cannot be solved
by the Ubuntu team because Flash is not Free Software: Macromedia do
not allow us to read and understand the source code for their Flash
player, nor to redistribute modified versions if we should somehow be
able to fix bugs anyway.

If you prefer to have a stable web browser, we recommend that you do
not install Flash, or other plugins that are not Free.

If your firefox has no plugins, extensions, themes or other non-Ubuntu
software installed and still crashes repeatably with a fresh profile
in the most recent version from Ubuntu's development release, then we
are very interested and would greatly appreciate it if you would
reopen this bug report. _Do_ say that you have a vanilla Firefox,
quoting the version number, and that you have tried moving your
profile aside, and describe in detail how to reproduce the problem.

Alternatively, you might like to consider using Ubuntu's online
support request system instead of filing a bug report. The Ubuntu
community can help to try to solve your problem and clarify any bugs
which may exist in the Ubuntu software.

Regards.
