what do you call "html links"? When the cursor is over a http link it's changed to a hand cursor and clicking on the link opens firefox, for me that works fine on edgy and feisty

Yes, I should have said http links.

It does that for me too, at least some of the time, but it gets the wrong document from the list.

For example, on page 3, if I move the cursor over "Standards conversion in Germany (1959)" a box appears, saying "http://www.bbc.co.uk/pubs/reports/1963-07.pdf", which is the URL for another paper in the list titled "T-type coaxial notch filters for use at VHF". If I click on it I get the latter. Going back to the same link later may retrieve a different (but still wrong) document.

That description is better than the "don't work", bug forwarded upstream: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=395842

Link mapping coordinates should be adjusted according to page rotation. It's
reproducible with the following document attached to evince bug #395842:

is this the same bug:

In some pdf files there are links to websites and emails that someone can clink on an the webrowser will open this link. When a website land email inks in a pdf file opened with evince-gtk in xubutu 6.10 are clickt they do nothing. They are not working. When run from the commanline no information is given when the website links do not open a browser. How can we solve this problem?

It is the purposes that the link can be automatically open. There for the functionality in evince when right clinking on a link en select open link is there. but this is not working in my xubuntu. how can we solve it (not asking for alternatives)
