icons of plugged usb-devices invisible

Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdebase

When I plug in an usb device the icon remains unvisible until I move over a window of another application. After that the icon is visible. A second possibility is to guess the icon position and to click on it. Than the icon appears too.

I use kubuntu 6.10 (i386). If more information is needed please let me know.

Good evening,

I am working on triaging bugs and noticed this bug. Could you please let me know if you are still having problems with this bug? Could you please make sure yoru system is completly up to date and post on this bug? Also are you still using 6.10 or have you upgraded?

Hi,

nice to get notified that this bug was noticed. But after upgrading to 7.04 this bug disappeared.
