no idea what caused it (firefox didn't have focus, or just lost it). added the crash file.

The large file times out, if someone can give me instructions where to upload it using ftp or so I can put it there. I can also make an upload available if needed.

Thank you for the bug report.

Could you please install the firefox-dbg package and obtain another crash report by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in
tracking down your problem.

The areas in your crash report that state "(no debugging symbols
found)" are usually where the info that is needed to make a useful crash report is stored. If you could do this and resubmit it will help us look into your bug.

I'll do that. Let's hope it breaks down soon, so it will be of any use
;) (or hope for me it doesn't of course)

I'm not sure at the moment. After reading the wiki-page, I think this is what you mean with 'one-time crash', and as such it shouldn't be considered. However, once the program crashes, it asks me to send the bug report. What do you want?

Sorry for the confusion. Crash report are completely swamping us so we are trying to determine how to handle them;(

If you could install -dbg and send us a crash report it would be useful. We understand that asking our users to install dbg symbols every time Firefox crashes is a pain that we are tring to avoid.

Thanks
David

There is a simple solution: make sure Firefox doesn't crash :P

I've installed -dbg, so the next time it crashes you will have some more useful details. 'Unfortunate problem': it doesn't crash that often and repoducable, so I guess the flood of crash-reports will stay for a while ;)
