Bug Description

It would be nice to see rhythmbox 0.9.7 backported as it has some new features, like support for last.fm radio.
rhythmbox-0.9.7-0ubuntu2 is in the feisty repositories

As it needs libgpod and Jdong doesn't look like he wants to backport this lib, I think you'll wait Feisty...

Can't this be compiled without iPod support, eliminating the need for libgpod? In this thread, someone provides a deb for Rhythmbox without iPod support, but I'd rather wait for a backport, if it's coming.

Can't be done. libgpod can't be backported for reasons I already mentioned, modifying the build options is not one of the things Backports is authorized to do :)
