Bug Description

Binary package hint: gparted

On my Dell Inspiron 5150, after having problems with the Flash 9 firefox plugin freezing the entire system, I decided to start fresh and test Feisty Fawn on it at the same time. (It was upgraded from Dapper to Edgy) However, when I ran gparted, it didn't recognize my 2GB swap drive when I chose to manually edit the partition table.

I was able to delete the swap and recreate it from gparted, but it should have recognized it as a swap partition instead of an unknown partition.

Thanks for your bug report. Feisty Fawn Herd 2 was released somewhat recently and Herd 3 is scheduled to come out this week. We would be interested to know if you have the same issue with either of those. Could you please test either one and let us know the results?
