Bug Description

Binary package hint: totem

Description: Ubuntu 11.04
Release: 11.04
totem 2.32.0-0ubuntu
python-coheren 0.6.6.2-5

This functionality works pretty well on the i386 side, i use it very often on my laptops.

Install totem and phyton-coherence
Launch totem, enter plgugin menu and click X upnp/dlna plugin

Now totem goes to a freeze for around 30s, then a dialog appears: Plugin »Coherence DLNA/UPnP-Client« konnte nicht aktiviert werden
Launched from a terminal you get this:

I have to add, that the upnp-inspector is working here, see only his warn but it's running.

/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/coherence/extern/louie.py:44: UserWarning: extern.louie will soon be deprecated in favor of coherence.dispatcher.
warnings.warn("extern.louie will soon be deprecated in favor of coherence.dispatcher.")

Solved by removal of python-2.6 parts from the system. I suggest that the updater should clean old version while updating.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the stable release - Oneiric Ocelot. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed. You can find out more about it at http://www.ubuntu.com/download . Thanks again and we appreciate your help.

Checked with i386 live usb. Added upnp-inspector, totem-plugin-extras and coherence. Results to the same like in full installed i386 and amd64. No upnp plugin available in totem, it's missing in the list and did not appear in the right switch box.

dlna functionality is not in the totem-plugin-extras for either amd64 or i386 (files are not physically in the deb).
