Could you please install the firefox-dbg package and obtain another crash report by following the instructions on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingFirefox This will greatly aid us in tracking down your problem.

 The areas in your crash report that state "(no debugging symbols found)" are usually where the info that is needed to make a useful crash report is stored. If you could do this and resubmit it will help us look into your bug

Does this bug happen often? Can you reproduce it? I had no problems with my version of Flash Player (9). What version are you on?

I'm new to this. Is a better crash report still needed? I tried to follow the instructions, and I have a file which I have attached. Let me know if this isn't quite right.

I cannot reproduce it here on AMD64 and up-to date Hardy and gnash.

I'm back on XP. Maybe I'll try the linux thing again in a few years. Good

Thank you for reporting this bug.

However, I will change the status in "fix released" as I can not reproduce this bug in neither Hardy nor Intrepid, neither on x86 or AMD64 (Flash 9, 10 RC1).

Check out Ubuntu 8.10, due in 4 weeks. Hope to see you back using Ubuntu, then.
