BUILD FAILED.
Unfortunately, the build has failed. Here's the last 20 lines:
I: Building against currently running distro: edgy

Important notice: Pine license does not allow "modified binaries" (like
the ones produced by this source package) to be distributed.

In particular, if you are a Debian developer, feel free to compile it
for a specific architecture to see if there are any bugs, but please
do not upload any .deb packages.

It would appear like pine delivers warning messages about licensing. If it won't build or is illegal to distribute, Backports can't do it.

Changed in edgy-backports:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected

Any thoughts on alpine? I would think many people looking for pine would be happy to help test, and it would not seem to have the licensing issues:

alpine is on its way to feisty, but it's offtopic on this bug I think.
