Random White-Out after a few minutes of use (Feisty Herd 1)

Bug Description

When booting into the Feisty Herd 1 LiveCD on a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an ATi x300 64MB card, after a few minutes (time varies) of normal use, the sytem will lock up completely, not responding to mouse or keyboard and with no HDD activity. Once it's locked up, the display will appear to "decay", slowly changing from the last thing on the display to white. This is happens without fail every time I boot into the Live CD. I suspect it to be video driver based, as it happened to me once on Edgy running a full 3D game with the Aiglx driver.

Thanks for your bug report. Feisty Herd 2 has been released and Herd 3 is set to come out by the end of the week. Could you possibly test either of those to add more info to the bug report?

Thanks for your bug report. Due to the fact that this is no longer an issue with the Herd 3 release of Feisty I am closing the bug.
