Bug Description

Binary package hint: gossip-telepathy

gossip-telepathy doesn't have a gossip.desktop file.
maybe just copying /usr/share/applications/gossip.desktop from the gossip package and modifying the path to the binary would suffice ?

the package gossip-telepathy conflicts with the package gossip, I think just copying the file with no modification should be ok.

Which version of gossip-telepathy are you using? It seems to be present for at least 0.21~svn20070107-0ubuntu1, and the changelog indicates it is not a recent edition.

Also note that gossip-telepathy installs the included .desktop file as /usr/share/applications/gossip.desktop, which may be confusing.
