Bug Description

Binary package hint: kdesvn

When I try to install kdesvn in Feisty, the package depends on libsvnqt2, however libsvnqt2 seems not to be available in the repository. It once was in the repository (the same version but don't know if it was in Edgy or Feisty), because previously I had libsvnqt2 and kdesvn installed until I removed both today and tried to reinstall again (it was a strange situation because libsvnqt2 appeared in "installed (local or obsolete) so I investigated this "annomaly").

It appears that libsvnqt2 is only available in edgy. I'm guessing that means it should be synced in feisty too. I'll see if I can get an MOTU on it.

In this case - kdesvn can not be installed in Feisty. Also the weird thing is that libsvnqt-dev is available - like the MOTU overlooked libsvnqt2. ;)

Hi,

nope, liqtsvn2 was obviously removed from the archive, since the newer kdesvn source package provides libqtsvn3 now. However the newer source package of kdesvn failed to build, and thus only the old kdesvn is left in the archive.

I'll try to see what's wrong with this.
