Bug Description

Two `the`s appear in-a-row, in the following message:
Expected was model "pc104", layout "us" and no options, but the the following settings were found: model "pc105", layout "us dvorak" and option "lv3 lv3:ralt_switch".

Bug 78377 is also about bad wording in the very same message, but it does not refer to the exact same wording problem. :)

I get the same when using the Dvorak layout over the US (Qwerty) layout.

Hi Bryce. I already created a patch for this bug, in addition to the general poor wording problems in that dialog box, in bug 78377. However, it was decided to forward that patch upstream, rather than hold it in Ubuntu. The relevant Gnome bug report is at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358048 .

Ah, gotcha. Maybe this bug should be marked as a dupe of 78377? In any case, I won't worry about it. :-)

Hi, I’m new. I just want to ask where this “Do not show this warning again” being written to. I checked the box, but it still pop up every time at system restart. I’m sure I made some mistake, but want to know how to correct that. Thanks!

Hi. You may want to file a separate bug report. That problem may have
to do with the same dialog box, but it sounds like a separate bug.
Thanks!

Thanks, Chris,

I really just want to know where this supposes to be written to, but I'll open another bug. Thanks.
