OSX-like blue scrollbars don't show

Bug Description

In the Mac OSX like themes such as T-ish, in the screenshots blue scrollbars are clearly shown. Yet when I change to that theme I just have plain grey scrollbars, no blue in sight.

It seems this has happened to someone else aswell (http://www.ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?p=1989308), so I thought it might need to be reported.

God (or SABDFL) bless the forums. :)

If you need any debug info don't hesitate to ask.

Thank you for your bug. Where did you get that theme. Are you sure it doesn't use a gtk theme engine that you don't have installed? What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you have any error on the command line if you run an application from there?

Hi,

Thanks for responding :).

I got the theme here: http://www.gnome-look.org/content/show.php?content=30859

I use Ubuntu Edgy on a good ol' i686.

And no errors at all I'm afraid.

One thing, on the link above they state that it

"Requires clearlooks or ubuntulooks engine.".

I'm wondering if the engine it is using changes the scrollbars? That might be it, but I don't know gtk enough to say, so its a shot in the dark.

Cheers,
  Matt

what theme do you use exactly? The theme with the blue bars is "tish-aquastyle", is that the one you picked?

I've tried all of them and none of them made the bluescrollbars appear.

That's not a GTK bug anyway, you probably have to install some theme engine to make it work. Closing the bug, that's not an Ubuntu bug. Feel free to use the support tracker for getting help on how to install it
