Bug Description

Binary package hint: k9copy

If you have a DVD with 30+ titles, you get one save dialog per title, even after you start cancelling some of them. If you want to abort everything altogether after you start seeing save dialogs, you have to close 30+ save dialogs.

Sorry about that. I'm running this on kubuntu 6.10 Edgy, and my copy of k9copy is 1.1.0. My mistake, I thought that selecting that version specifically from launchpad would stick it into the bug report for you.

No problem.

Can you include which steps a users would need to follow in order to reproduce the bug. As soon as we can get it confirmed by another user so that we are sure that's not some special condition on your computer we can start trying to figure out how to fix it

Reproduction steps are:

1) Insert a DVD with multiple titles in the tree display
2) Start a rip to AVI for all titles
3) When it prompts for a file location, hit cancel.

At this point it will continue to prompt you for file locations. I'm not sure whether I would classify this as a bug or as a serious usability problem.

There doesn't seem to be anyone who can confirm this bug. I would advice that we wait until Feisty i released and see if the bug still persist in the version of k9copy that comes with Feisty.

If you can confirm that it is still a problem in the final version of Feisty (Released in about a month) I'll try to write the developers.

I don't know to be honest with you. I don't have any DVDs to rip at the moment... Anybody else?
