Bug Description

Binary package hint: libapache2-mod-scgi

I've come across a bug in scgi 1.10 that seems to be metioned as fixed here:

http://mail.python.org/pipermail/python-announce-list/2006-August/005165.html

I see duplicated headers for SCRIPT_NAME. Please upgrade to 1.11 so this will be resolved.

I'm not sure if I'm reporting this issue correctly. I tried to report against the libapache2-mod-scgi package. I have version 1.10-1 of that package installed, and I saw the SCRIPT_NAME bug. It looks like the source package is at version 1.11-2, which would have the fix... not sure why the binary package wouldn't be built against the source package, and thus have the fix?

I see, so libapache2-mod-scgi won't be upgraded until the problems with this source package are fixed? Can someone please mark this bug confirmed? When it's fixed in feisty, I would love a backport to edgy.

scgi 1.11-2 has been retried to build, which was successful.
