Feisty Rhythmbox hanging on radio streams

Bug Description

Using Rhythmbox to listen to internet radio here. I find that when streaming audio Rhythmbox will hang if the stream can not continually feed from the internet.

Most players will allow for you to stop the steam play and rebuffer it or choose another station stream but with Rhythmbox the UI freezes and becomes unresponsive leading to having to force quit.

This bug is valid. The GUI stops responding while rhythmbox doesn't receive streaming data (the only way to close the application is killing it). To reproduce will need a slow internet connection (or being able to mimic one).
