gnome panel crashes on right-click

What version of Ubuntu do you use?

The version of gnome-panel from that repository is prior to the one I had. I can't reproduce the bug.

The version with debug symbols forces me to downgrade the gnome-panel.

what version of gnome-panel is installed? Could you run "apt-cache policy gnome-panel gnome-panel-dbg" and copy that to a comment?

The version I had was 2.16.1-0ubuntu4~prop1 0

The versions are the same, you can install gnome-panel-dbg to get a debug backtrace. If you were trying to install the dbgsym they are not built for edgy-proposed at the moment

ok, here are my bug reports with debug simbols, the problem found me with low defences so I didn't make a proper backtrace. I hope this helps
