Bug Description

This bug affects the lp:tomdroid branch.
"Longpress -> Send" crashes with Ubuntu One sync for very short notes (just 4 characters) and cuts away the first 10 to 20 characters for longer notes. This happens every time, unrelated of the sending target (SMS, Mail, Facebook,...)
This bug appears on all Android Virtual Machines, HTC Desire, Samsung Galaxy,...

This bug is not present when syncing with the SD-Card, just when syncing with a Web Service (Only Ubuntu One tested).

My phone: Stock Android 2.2 with Sense, build 2.29.405.5

I just tested, the bug is not present on Andrid 2.2 SDK.
The difference is also, that on the SDK i just synchronise with the SD Card, on my Phone with Ubuntu One.
Maybe this is causing the problem.

I haven't reproduced the crash but I can reproduce the first few characters of a note being stripped reliably.

Samsung Galaxy S on 2.2.

I just synced the Android SDKs (1.6, 2.2 and 2.3) with Ubuntu One and there also the bug occurs.

The first characters are always cut away, and for very short notes with just 4 characters for instance, the application crashes.
