UbuntuSSOClient fails when starting the SSO process

Bug Description

When starting a new SSO process, UbuntuSSOClient.connect does not return the deferred, so it will always fail in this case.
It should also wait a bit after starting it, to make sure it has time to set up the socket, but it's currently stuck in an idle recursion.
