Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

Sometimes, my firefox "save as" dialog is missing items of default directories, like home and Desktop.
So far, I haven't seen any pattern in when they are missing, and I can't remember seeing this problem in other applications using the gnome filechooser. Maybe somebody can confirm this?
It's also happening with a new profile. I'd be happy to further debug this.

As you can see, the only folder appearing on the left side is "File system".

However, as you can see here, there are still clickable items, without a label though.

Does this problem occurs when you are logged as another user on the same computer ?

I confirm.

Only that the other items are so little that it doesn't seem they are absent.

Changed in firefox:
status: Unconfirmed → Confirmed

Nope, I don't have a second user on this computer. Thanks for confirming.
