Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

I have Ubuntu Edgy 6.10 with latest updates. It seems like when I go to webpages with flash components Firefox crashes. A site to test is www.macromedia.com. To make it possible to browse I removed the libflashplayer.so from the plugins directory and firefox is much more stable.

Sorry I can not reproduce this issue. The problem is probably your flash plugin. there was an update recently to flash which is probably going to fix this problem.

This bug is old and seems outdated. Closing it.

People experiencing crashes under 8.04 should check bug #192888 and bug #247682
