What happened to pyid3lib in feisty?

Bug Description

I've been using the python-id3lib package for a program I wrote (envelopalator: https://launchpad.net/envelopalator), but now in feisty I see that the python-id3lib package has been removed! I looked for a bug report that would explain why this has happened, but found none. Is there a better place for me to look for information on removed packages? If not, why has this package disappeared?

The package has been removed from debian (testing and unstable).

Please see debian BTS : http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=348220

OK, thanks. I did check the debian reports, but I didn't look for closed reports.

Marking as rejected because pyid3lib was removed from debian and therefore will no longer appear in Ubuntu (unless someone MOTUs it). python-id3 or python-eyed3 can be used instead.

Changed in pyid3lib:
status: Unconfirmed → Rejected
