Bug Description
Don't know which package to file this bug against so feel free to reassign if necessary.
Ubuntu Oneiric has replaced the directory /var/run by /run as seems to be the new standard. Unfortunately on my system mysqld tries to create a file in the new location and is blocked by apparmor.
