Bug Description
Binary package hint: gnome
When saving a file in many applications (Firefox, Open Office, etc.), gnome offers the file save dialogue window. If one chooses to "browse for other folders", the window grows slightly but only reveals ONE folder name. Only if I expand the window vertically may I see a usable number.
When I am wanting to save a file quickly, I would not be disappointed for gnome to take up more of the vertical space available.
I have seen this problem in Dapper @ 1024x768, and sometimes at higher screen resolutions.
It seems to me that the window is trying to get bigger but bumps in to the bottom of the visible space.
