Bug Description

Binary package hint: screem

When I have use my ssh base connection threw gnome's connect to server thingy screem will hang at boot. Only showing the spash screen. I think some better error handling should be in place.
This also happens when I try to load previously documents and the drive has not been connected to yet. Kind of hard to explain. But it gets really annoying. To solve the issue I have to load all my files locally and then upload them when completed.
Not that fun.

To repeat the error...
connect to an ssh server with the connect to server program....
load a document with screem that is in that ssh connection...
close screem with those windows open....
Then try to pen screem... it hangs at the splash screen.

I tested two different locations via ssh.
These servers were connected through the Menu>Places>Connect to server.
In the Gnome-Filemanager they show up correctly.
Gnome says this is a SFTP-connection.

In screem when choosing File>Open I can see the connection, navigate through folders on the server, but screem can not open a file.

The same bug appears when I open mounted by gvfs FTP location, open file, close program (but not tab!). So with next loading program will try to load previous document. If ftp's not mounted, it will freez on boot screen (loading session) and will be unusable unless i mount exact the same document.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. However, screem has been removed from Lucid for the following reasons:

RoQA; inactive maintainer, dead upstream, buggy, depends on deprecated libraries
(taken from https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/screem/0.16.1-4.2ubuntu1/+publishinghistory

Therefore I'm closing this bug. Please feel free to report any other bugs you may find in Ubuntu.
